CALL FOR ABSTRACTS!
On behalf of the organizing committee I want to encourage you to send in abstracts to the meeting. All perfusion related topics are of interest, both as oral presentations and posters. Case reports are also very much welcome. Invited speakers will cover the following subjects:
- Chief perfusionist Harald Karlsen will give us a brief summary of Scandinavian perfusion history
- Prof Jan Axel van der Linden will present the positive effects of CO2 in the operating field
- Chief perfusionist John W Mulholland will guide us through inline monitoring and data acquisition during CPB
- Dr Tom Nilsen Hoel will present a summary of ECMO-treatment for patients with H1N1 influenza
Deadline for Abstract for the SCANSECT meeting has been postponed to May 15th so you still have the opportunity to make an input for the next meeting in Oslo August 26.-28.
